Spanish giants Barcelona have
reportedly joined the race to sign
Falkirk youngster Tony Gallacher
before the end of the January 2017 transfer window.
According to the report, the Spanish club sent spies over to Scotland in recent weeks to check out the 17-year-old who has burst in to the Bairns' first-team this term.
Several Premier League clubs like
Manchester United, Liverpool, Stoke City and Everton are also
interested in signing the player.
Barcelona want to lure the player to Spain where he would become part of the team B set-up competing in the Spanish second tier.
Meanwhile, no
official offer has been made yet, but Falkirk manager Peter Houston has
insisted he won’t let any of his young talent go on the cheap as he is
hoping they stay to gain first team experience in Scotland.
