Wayne Rooney is reportedly ready to quit Manchester United and seal a
big-money transfer to the
Chinese Super League this summer.
The 31-year-old has 18 months left on his deal at Old Trafford but
has decided to leave after breaking Bobby Charlton’s scoring record last
week.
With his place in the club’s history now assured, Rooney is eager to
move on to ensure he can go back to playing regular first team football.
According to the Sun, Rooney has a lack of offers from MLS sides,
which has persuaded him to become the latest big name to move to China.
United have been linked several times recently with a move to sign Antoine Griezmann as Rodney’s replacement.
